Samir Ahmed
Managing Director and Chief Executive
Mr. Samir Ahmed took over as Managing Director of PMEX in August 2009. He has held various management positions in the Financial Sector since 1983, including International Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Financial Regulation. In addition to Pakistan he has worked in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. Earlier he has worked as CEO of IGI Investment Bank from 2004 to 2009 and CEO/ Managing Director of the Lahore Stock Exchange from 2001 to 2004, Senior Advisor to Dubai Financial Market he worked for the Government of Dubai from 1999 to 2001 and spent 5 years in the equity brokerage industry, including the period 1995 to 1998 when he headed the equities business of ING Barings in Pakistan. |

Amjad Khan is the Chief Technology Officer He joined PMEX in Jan 2004. Amjad has about 15 years experience in the capital markets of Pakistan. He has extensive background in trading systems for futures and spot contracts in stock and derivatives exchanges. He has worked closely with business development, trading, risk management, back office and clearing systems. He has also contributed actively at SECP for development of surveillance systems for market surveillance of stock exchanges. Prior to joining PMEX, he was the CTO for Lahore Stock Exchange where he headed development of risk management, clearing and trading systems. He has a BSc in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Southern Mississippi, USA. |

| Sahibzada Mansoor Ali Chief Business Officer |

Mansoor is currently the Chief Business Officer at PMEX. He joined PMEX as Chief Operating Officer and has pioneered the introduction of financial futures in Pakistan including interest rate and currency futures. He has over 15 years of experience in derivatives and prior to joining NCEL in 2004 was a derivatives trader for Fixed Income, Bond and Hybrid FX Products at Commerzbank in London. His previous experience has covered derivatives trading, pricing, operations and risk management at top tier international investments banks Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust and Deutsche Bank. He has been involved in trading and risk management of complex risk portfolios as well as developing structured derivative products for various types of financial institutions. He has also pioneered the development of analytical tools for Pakistani markets including yield curve constructions, instrument & portfolio hedge calculators and pricing applications. He has an MSc in Mathematical Finance from University of London and is an FSA approved Derivatives Trader. |

Raeda has over 14 years of experience in Marketing, Branding and Business Development of both financial and consumer products. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK since 2008. She has been awarded the Brand Leadership Award by the World Brand Congress in 2010. Raeda started off her career in Advertising. Shortly, she moved on to join Habib Oil Mills. Raeda spent 3 years of her professional life working for the Lakson Group for Cyber Internet Services where she played an essential role in increasing the customer base of the company. In 2004, Raeda joined Union Bank as a Product Manager for Mortgages where she was responsible for Product Development, Marketing and Business Strategy. Raeda Latif joined the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange in December 2010 and is currently holding the position of Business Development and Marketing Head at the Exchange. Raeda Latif holds a Masters degree in Linguistics along with an MBA in Marketing. Aside from her career pursuit she has been a visiting faculty member for MBA courses like Brand Management, Advertising and Marketing Management |

Mustafa Khetty is the Head of Internal Audit at PMEX. He joined PMEX in January 2008 as Head of Internal Audit. Earlier he has completed Four years mandatory internship from KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co, Chartered Accountants where he was involved in Audits of various local and multinational Financial Institutions and Manufacturing Companies. Before joining NCEL he has served Renfro Crescent (Pvt) Ltd as Senior Manager Finance and PIA Investments limited as Manager Finance/Audit. Mustafa is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ACA). He has also passed CFA final level (III) examination in June2009. |

Aamir Zareef Khan has joined PMEX in May, 2008 as Head of Compliance, Legal and Process Management. Mr. Khan is overseeing regulatory & operational Compliance and Legal risk Management at PMEX and also responsible to check and control the market abuses by heading Surveillance and process management functions of the Exchange. Mr. Khan has over 16 years of varied professional working experience in the Securities and derivatives markets and has held various management positions. Mr. Khan has also international exposure of working with leading corporate brokerage house of DGCX in Dubai-UAE as General Manager. Before joining PMEX, Mr. Khan was working with Lahore Stock Exchange (1994-2008). During his tenure with LSE, Mr. Khan was responsible for overseeing the position of Company Secretary, Head of Legal, Risk and Exposure, Investigation & Enforcement, Membership Affairs etc. Mr. Khan has practiced as lawyer upto High Court level. The academic qualification of Mr. Khan is MBA-Finance and LL.B. (Distinction holder) from Punjab University, Lahore. He has also completed/ attended various professional courses and seminars at national and international level. |

| Hasan Mahmood Joined PMEX in February 2004. He is a Head Research & Product Development. He has been involved in designing of various futures contracts listed at PMEX and business development activities. He has over 13 years experience of capital markets of Pakistan. He started his professional career in 1996 from National Investment Trust (NIT), the largest open-ended mutual fund of Pakistan and gained extensive experience of funds management, equity trading desk, equity analysis & valuation and preparing company and sectoral research reports. He also represented NIT as its nominee director on the Boards of a number of listed companies. He is an MBA from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He also holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics. |

Shehzad Hussain has joined PMEX in May 2004. He is the Senior Manager –Market Operations at PMEX and he is leading Market Operations department. He has been involved in the development of standard operating procedures and guidelines for Market Operations, Clearing and Settlements, Membership and Compliance and Market Surveillance. He is also supervising business requirements testing of the Exchange and Trading Applications and provides technical expertise to internal departments to ensure complete system integrity from a business point of view. Earlier Shehzad has completed four years mandatory training under Chartered Accountants Bye-Laws from M/S KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., Chartered Accountants in April 2004 and had extensive experience in financial and IS audits of various companies, local and multinational entities including financial institutions. Shehzad is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ACA) and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ACMA) and also Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) of Information System Audit Control Association (ISACA). |
